State Minimum Wage Increases for 2013

Original publish date: December 31, 2012

The federal minimum wage will remain at $7.25 per hour in 2013. However, the following states’ minimum wages will increase as of January 1. Employers must pay the higher of state or federal minimum wage.

Arizona:                      $7.80

Florida:                       $7.79

Montana:                    $7.80

Ohio:                           $7.85 (non-tipped employees)

Oregon:                       $8.95

Rhode Island:             $7.75

Washington:                $9.19

Colorado:                    $7.78 (non-tipped employees) (proposed)

Missouri:                     $7.35

Vermont:                     $8.60
